Privacy Policy

Status: Structured placeholder — finalize with counsel before public launch.

This Privacy Policy describes how AroWhere (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the AroWhere Android application, Windows Connector, and related services that help you stay connected to your Aronium POS installation.

1. Who we are

AroWhere is an independent mobile companion for Aronium POS. It is not an official Aronium product unless explicitly stated.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use AroWhere, we may process:

  • Account information (such as your Google sign-in identity and email).
  • Business information synced from your Aronium installation via the Windows Connector (for example sales, products, inventory, and customers), so it can be shown in the Android app.
  • Device and technical data needed to operate notifications and secure the service.
  • Support messages you send us.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the mobile companion experience and account authentication.
  • Sync and display Aronium-related information you choose to connect.
  • Send optional new-sale or service notifications.
  • Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.

4. Cloud storage

Synced business information is stored in AroWhere’s cloud backend so you can access it from your phone when signed in. Access is controlled by your account and store permissions.

5. Aronium database

The Windows Connector is designed to read required information from your Aronium installation and is not intended to modify your existing Aronium database.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use infrastructure providers (for example cloud hosting and authentication) to operate the service. Guest access, if you enable it, shares store visibility with the people you invite.

7. Retention & security

We retain information as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices

You may sign out, remove guest access you control, or permanently delete your AroWhere cloud stores and synced data from the Android app (More → Advanced → Delete all cloud data). Full steps: Delete account & data guide. You can also email support@arowhere.com. Local Aronium data on your Windows PC remains under your control.
